JORKYBALL INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION

About

Jorkyball is type of football played in the format of two-versus-two. The game is played on an artificial turf in a 10m by 5m walled court. The walls can be used to pass, dribble, or score and the objective is to get the ball in the opponent’s net. Players are only permitted to use their feet. The game was invented in France and first appeared as an exhibition match at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Since then, the game has increased in popularity and now features in over 10 nations. A jorkyball game is played in sets of seven goals each with the first team to reach two sets declared as the winner. The Jorkeyball International Federation is the governing body with their headquarters based in Rome.
