The week begins in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City where the best carom billiards players gather for the UMB World Cup 3-Cushion. Joining the event on Monday, the World Futsal Association based in Asunción, presents the AMF C17 World Cup until Sunday.

South Korea's Yecheon-gun begins Tuesday with the next Archery World Cup. Following on from the senior world championship in Germany's Herne, the Under 23's gather in Slovakia's Brezno for the World Ninepin Bowling Association World Championship. Sorbon Beach on the island of Bonaire, part of the Dutch Antilles, hosts the next stage of the Professional Windsurfers Association Youth Slalom World Cup. Many of the strongest athletes head to Austin, Texas, to compete in the World Classic & Equipped Bench Press Championship

We begin Wednesday with two events in Türkiye. Ankara brings the best pentathletes together in the UIPM 2024 Pentathlon World Cup Final. We then head to the Aegean Sea where Urla hosts the Wingfoil Racing World Cup Türkiye. Peru's Lima showcases the future generation of weightlifters at the IWF World Youth Championships

Two main competitions feature on Thursday. The first is for experts in artistic gymnastics. Bulgaria's Varna hosts the FIG World Challenge Cup. São Paulo becomes the home of the next World Abilitysport Wheelchair Fencing World Cup.

Poland's Poznan opens Friday with the International Canoe Federation Canoe Sprint World Cup. The city of Szigetszentmiklós in Hungary hosts stage two of the International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics World Cup. After spending the weekend in Poland, the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Tour moves to Nové Město na Moravě in Czechia. Joining events on Friday, the 2nd World Military Championship Half Marathon will on this occasion be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Sarajevo. Stop 2 of the World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup heads to Golfo Aranci on the island of Sardinia. Lake Lucerne is the perfect location for the world's best rowers at the World Rowing Cup II. Widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world, Formula One's Monaco Grand Prix will race the famous streets of Monte Carlo over the weekend. Moving over to Barcelona, the Gran Premi de Catalunya is the next major race of the FIM MotoGP World Championship.

Aerobic gymnastics is the focus in Yokohama at the FIG Suzuki World Cup from Saturday. We then cross to Shanghai for Rounds 11 and 12 of the FIA Formula E World Championship. Switzerland's Olten opens Round 1 of the Orienteering World Cup. Italy's Cagliari entertains the world's best triathletes as they step up to the next stage of the World Triathlon Championship Series. Grand Prix 3 of the FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship takes us to Plomion, a commune in northern France. Lawn Mower Racing experts spend the weekend in the village of Alfold in Surrey, England, to compete in the BLMRA World Championship

Türkiye's Sankarya will test the top mountain bikers at the UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup on Sunday. We resume ninepin bowling in Brezno and this time it's the Single World Championship. Boulder and Lead are the disciplines in Innsbruck's International Federation of Sport Climbing World Cup. Freestyle canoers head to Germany's Plattling to compete in the ICF Canoe Freestyle World Cup. The FIM Supermoto World Championship reaches Round 2 in Italy's Tramatza. We are now at the second Tennis Grand Slam of the season as Paris gets ready to begin Roland-Garros on Sunday.
